A 'cookie' is an alphanumeric identifier that we transfer to your computer's hard drive through your web browser to allow our systems to recognise your browser so that our shopping basket system can store the items that are currently in your basket and know whether or not you are logged on as a registered customer.
The website uses both 'session' cookies which disappear as soon as you close your browser and 'permanent' cookies which are kept on your computer. Neither of these types of cookie store or gather any personal information about you.
